Cannabis or hemp is perhaps best known as the source of the psychoactive drug marijuana, which is often smoked but also has edible forms. The unfertilized female flower buds are preferred for these drug products. In addition to this, hemp also yields nutritious foodstuffs, mainly derived from the oil-rich seeds.
Edible products
- Marijuana buds (psychoactive)
- Oil infusions of the buds
- Hemp seeds
- Hemp milk
- Hemp oil
- Leaves - as a potherb, or even a salad green?
