Melon refers to several different cucurbit fruits:
- Citrullus colocynthis, called colocynth, or egusi, with bitter white flesh but edible seeds
- Horned melon, spiny and like a cucumber inside
- Muskmelon, including cantaloupe, honeydew melon, etc.
- Watermelon, with sweet red edible flesh
- Winter melon, with sweet white edible flesh
